Kristin is professional, punctual and a friendly personality, well-experienced in photographic modelling. I could not recommend her enough. Arriving early (coming from the Gold Coast to Brisbane) and with great enthusiasm. She takes directions well, has a great understanding of posing, which made all very easy working with her and to create a wonderful set of portraits. ☆☆☆☆☆

Use of a mixture of both sunlight and LED (portable) light to create some amazing portraits. A little wind also helps too :)

Natural sprinkled sunlight adding some texture from the trees overhead to the background and hair (high) lights. Fill light from the right to provide a nicely balanced portrait.
Beautifully dropped out background, reasonably close with the f/1.4 50mm Canon FD lens.

Soft greys on Tri-x 400. Frosted windows in the background reacting to the fill light to add some slight background textural interest.
More soft greys on Tri-x 400 with frosted (reflective) background textural interest. I do love a good reflection photos.
Mt Cordeaux, with an accessible carpark just off the Cunningham Highway, approx. 1.5 hrs SW of Brisbane. With a choice of Mt Cordeaux or Mt Mitchell (post coming soon from a separate hike). Early rise, 3am. Sunny day and windy. Hiking with a friend. 5am start, perfect for a sunrise. A bit of slushy mud, but fairly easy going. From the carpark to the peak and across to Bare Rock a return journey of little less than 14kms.
As we ascended the wind was pressing, clouds rolling in. Watching them beneath us was quite a surreal experience, with the odd vista of the valley and rising sun peaking through.
